I went out to watch the basic class and drill class this past Thursday.  I was very impressed. Both instructors seemed really great.  I am going to suggest to my daughter when she is ready for the basic class to contact you.  I might start going again myself with one of my dogs to the drill class.  It is so nice to be in an air conditioned environment to practice. Thanks for your help.

Hi.

I would like to start classes on Wednesdays with my dog Sage in May. I understand you start at the beginning of the month. I just was not sure if you needed any pre-registration info/notification or do we just show up?

I look forward to meeting you. I've heard good things about all of you.

Sincerely,

   Jo-Anne Thompson & Sage

I enjoyed your site. I found it via a search engine called "Dogpile" and I'm grateful you are local. I am looking forward to bringing my dogs to training classes "emergently" then we can have more fun together. We need training as I can no longer walk two of my dogs at the same time as they gang up on me...I love them and honestly believe they saved my life with their unconditional love. There isn't enough love in this world but in the heart of a dog-well it is the closest thing to God's love. They are always happy to see you, they don't hold resentments, they will love you out of your grief, depression, loneliness, etc. and clown around with antics that just make you smile. Because of their loyalty and protective instincts I no longer live in fear when I once did due to my own bouts of anxiety and the reality of crime locally. Happy trails...Bunny

Hi, I would like to attend your advanced classes however I did not take the basic. However my dog has been through training. He can heel, sit, down, come, stay. We do distraction training and currently working on the finish.
I've observed your classes as your location is very close to my house and I would love to get involved. If possible you could assess my dog and determine if he was able to attend your advanced classes?  I have been working with a trainer 1:1 for some time but need more experiences for my dog, different situations etc... My goal is for my dog to pass CGC exam and go from there.

Hi there, I am interested in your basic class for my 6 mo. old Boxer, Sadie.  We did do a puppy class so she is pretty good on the leash, sit, wait, go to bed.  We're really having the most issues w/jumping up.  Are you opposed to the chain correction collars?  That's how my other Boxers were trained (years ago) and I had very good results.  I don't know how they've gotten such a bad rap since I trained my last dogs.  There are 4 kids in my house .. would I ever know where a clicker is when I need it?  Looking forward to seeing you on April 7th!  Thanks!

I am inquiring to the dog obedience classes that you offer.  I am getting a cockapoo next week and would like to start obedience sessions right away to be able to train him appropriately.  He is 11 weeks old. Please let me know when you have classes and if I can apply to get into one of the classes and the cost.  Thank you.

I am interested in signing up for your dog training class at Tree Tops Park on Thursday evenings. I have a 10 month old British Golden Retriever who needs training as well as socialization. How do I sign up?

Thanks for your reply,

Hello -  My chocolate Labrador is 16 months old and he knows the basic commands, sit, down, stay, come, walk on leash, speak, roll over, etc, but the problem I have is, he gets anxious around other dogs.  What would you think would be better for him?  Practice basic commands around other dogs or Advanced class?

Please send more info and how do I register?

Thank you.

Hi!

I visited the Tree Tops park website about dog training classes. Do you ever accept new dogs at any time of the month? My dad has a 7 month old golden retriever and I have a 1 1/2 year old golden as well.  We would LOVE to start this week IF possible but if we must wait until the first week in March I understand.  We look forward to meeting you and learning LOTS.

Thanks,

Lisa

Thank you so much for your quick response to my call, and thank you for inviting me to come observe your next class.  My Shih Tzu puppy will be 5 months old in March so we would like to start the class then.  Will this class give me any helpful tips on potty training?  Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi - My name is Vanessa, my family and I just adopted a young dog who needs serious training.  I've heard about your classes and am hoping to join your class that starts in March.  Is there any paper work I would have to fill out? And how do I get you the payment?  I am interested in the training classes that are held at Tree Tops Park. Thanks for any additional information.

I want to sign up my dog for the basic classes. She is about 1 1/2 years old. She is a good playful dog but very hyper and difficult for me to walk. She is only about 35 lbs and a humane society special ( mixed breed). My kids and I love her to death and we want nothing more than to have her as obedient on a walk as she is inside. Please tell me how to register and when the next class is. Thank you.

My husband and I have a 22 month Labrador Retriever, Ginger Burke, who has gone thru your basic obedience training class at Treetops Park.  FYI - we're thinking of adopting another young female Lab - if you know of any, keep us in mind. I would like to enroll her in advanced training to reinforce her response to commands and provide additional stimulation. When is the start date of the next class and what is the enrollment fee?  We look forward to seeing you again.

Thanks,

I am thrilled to have found you from the Park Paws news letter.  I have been bragging about you for 20 years. Please let me know where I can come to your beginner classes for our new 51/2 month great dane.

Hope all is well with you and your family and just THRILLED TO HAVE FOUND THAT YOU ARE STILL IN THE BUSINESS. Looking forward to hearing from you. I live in Broward county.

Great web site! I attended Linda's class on 4-8 with my white lab Haley, Linda was terrific but Haley did not do so well. My goal is to have her be a therapy dog some day but I need a lot of help. I may have to take "your"  beginners class, or try to work with her before I come back to Linda's class. Thank you Linda for your help with my one class.

A few lines to Linda Day to express my gratefulness to your dedication to the art of dog training. I really appreciate all your tips and watchful eye on the progress of all the dogs and mine in particular. You have a tremendous dedication not only to the training but also as a team player. Looking forward to all your advice in becoming a better handler and dog owner. Thank you, Moises Kaba and Leo Kaba

I am enjoying the class so much- it has been a long time since I trained a doggie and I love it- I really want to go as far as possible with Charley- he is such a smarty! I hope to eventually do some children’s events with him- My church does lots of block parties in under privileged neighborhoods and I hope to write some cute little skits for us to do at them- I also am thinking about showing him in obedience

– I’ll have to get information on all that from you as I have never shown any of my dogs!So glad I found you again!!!!  See ya next week!

We have been going to your classes for years and Gretchin and the rest of the staff are fantastic and always accommodating to the needs of each dog (and Handler). There are lots of smiles in the class not only because its fun but also because of the results that you see from their expert training advice. Without Gretchins guidance we would never have achieved the success in conformation that we have. To date we have handled 3 of our Clumber Spaniels to their Championships and 2 others for friends. If we have an issue with one of our dogs we turn to Gretchin she always knows what to do, she is amazing!!! Beginners and Pro's alike can benefit from these classes as we have seen many do!! Love the website and thank you! Keep smiling Marge :-) John & Naiza Woodlief www.kingclumberspaniels.com

Love the training technique used by all the trainers. I have already taken four of my dogs here and they have made Marge and me proud - especially those dogs that I show. I am going to be taking my grandson dog to class soon. It's a great class to take dogs to that you will be showing in the ring. Positive reinforcement. Great trainers.

Hiya, it's been a while. Don't know if you remember our chocolate Lab, Porter. Porter has since become a very bad dog who refuses to behave. Your training methods obviously were totally inadequate...JUST KIDDING!!! Actually Porter is a very well behaved dog. Positive comments from visitors about him being the best dog ever are too numerous to count now. Due to his excellent behavior, he also gets to enjoy traveling with us on most every vacation. His trips include Georgia and North Carolina, as well as many overnight camping trips and backpacking on the Florida Trail. We have plans for an Appalachian Trail trip. I've trained him as a traildog, with many miles of off lead trail miles. He has his own backpack for this and has completed his 25 mile traildog patch. OK, enough about Porter. Which brings me to "Stout", our black Lab and newest addition, who will be 6 months old soon. Stout is a bit more of a handful than Porter was, he gets into everything, is full of energy and has taught Porter to bark. He is however very smart, and has good attention. He is more work than Porter, but has mastered sit and stay, he has issues with down. His recent accomplishment was his first water retrieve. He is officially a real Lab now. It's now time to sign Stout up for school so we'll see you at the next Beginner class!

I had found your web site after a yahoo search and let me say that it is very impressive. I have had dogs most of my life. My family had German Shepherds that were always trained and a pleasure to live with but unfortunately my wife will not let me get a Shepherd because, well, I don't know why - if you had a place to send wives to be trained that would be perfect! Anyway, a friend has just had puppies so we have a 9-week old bulldog mix who is very cute. As a Youth pastor at a church I would like to have a dog that is good with children but also obedient enough to protect at home when I travel. Can you please direct me in any way possible, including some further information on your rates and when classes start. Thank you.

I want to thank you all for being so great at teaching us "humans" how to train our dogs. I thought I would get a chance to thank you at my first drill class but it was too hectic as you were starting another new beginner class. I have recommended you to all of my dog owner friends. I am planning a trip next month and would love to bring Bella over sometime soon so she could see your place and get to know you if you'll be available to take care of her for boarding. Please let me know your thoughts.

I wanted to say how much I appreciate Linda working with me and Charlie at your last dog training on Wednesday. I did get the Monks of New Skete book that you recommended and am reading through it. I am very much looking forward to regaining control of my wonderful dog and thank you for assisting me with that not small task! Many thanks!

Hi Marge - just a note to let you know you taught our Worf well! I let her out the other day to do her business & she usually comes right back in. This time she decided to go on a walkabout. Before I could retrieve my Retriever she was no where to be found so I went searching in the car & found her about a half mile away. She managed to get wet & filthy & since I didn't want her in the car I said "Worf, Heel" and she heeled right next to the car for the entire walk (drive) home. It was very funny to watch & my daughter Alana laughed all the way home. I hope you got a chuckle out of this story too! Thanks so much for watching Worf over the holiday - we wish you a very merry Christmas & wonderful New Year. Love from Kathy, Buddy, Alana & Worf.

Just a quick note to say thank you for all you taught Bella and myself last night at our first lesson. I know we really learned a lot in one hour. Bella and I have been practicing heeling today when on our walks. The squirrels and neighbors saying hello are a few of the obstacles we must overcome with time! Looking forward to next week's class. Thanks again, Patti

Loved your website - my daughter was so taken by your little Dream Girl puppy that she made it our wallpaper on the computer! What a difference your training class has made with Chaco! She's so much more responsive - she's sitting when I stop almost all of the time without correction and she's making great progress with waiting for an OK at doors. I'm so proud! You'll see a new pooch next Thursday evening. Thanks for your help!

Hi Marge As you know I was beside myself after adopting Max. I was completely unable to control him, reluctant to use a choke chain. You kindly saw me on a Saturday morning, and rescued me. (Actually, Max). After taking your classes, Max is a delight. I can't thank you enough, nor can Max. Gloria

Hi, Marge. Site looks really good. Just wanted to drop you a note to say so. Talk to you soon.

Dear Marge - I never in a million years would have thought that a pet store puppy I felt so sorry for would ever lead me to where I am today. I honestly do believe that if I had not had the fortune to receive your phone number when I decided I wanted a quality Labrador that I wouldn't be where I am now. I know that you've led many people in the right direction toward owning a quality puppy and the Labrador world can thank you. I just wish we lived closer to attend your Conformation training classes, but look forward to seeing you at the shows. Best wishes!
