We offer Group obedience classes at two locations. Puppies must have completed their vaccination series in order to attend this class. A dog is never too old, but they could be too young, so we recommend they be close to 5 months of age and up. If you're not sure, your veterinarian may be able to advise you. The basic commands of Heel, Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Stand, No and OK are essential for a dog's well-being and for his participation in society. A dog that does what he is told and knows his role will be a happier and more useful pet, and you'll both have more fun!
Our goal in training is not to have a robot, but an intelligent and alert companion that responds in a cheerful, reliable manner. Class is both educational and entertaining, so stop by any evening, observe and ask any questions. We're happy to "talk dogs"!

has been
teaching group classes since
1970 with both the Ft.
Lauderdale Dog Club and the
German Shepherd Dog Club of
Ft. Lauderdale. At the same
time she was conducting
private in-home training as
President of Command Dog
Training, Inc. Marge's
approach in teaching the
first half of every Beginner
Obedience class at both Sunview Park and Tree Tops
Park is based on
communicating a natural
method of training and
behavior modification, with
methods that have been used
for generations.
